Can a sibling of my deceased boyfriend enter his apartment if I’m living there?

My boyfriend recently died and I’m living in his apartment, which is in his name. His sister recently came into the apartment and took some of his things out. Does she have the legal right to do this? We were never married.

Whether or not your deceased boyfriend's sister was allowed to take some of his belongings depends upon whether she is the representative of his estate or was instructed to retrieve such items from the estate's representative.

As to being entitled to enter the apartment, if you are paying the rent and the sister is not on the lease or paying any portion of the rent, then she is not legally entitled to have access to the rental.
