Can a private impound lot hold your vehicle extra days on their scheduleeven though you are at the lot ready to pay?

Having all necessary paperwork and be charged extra days because the employee isn’t there or willing to go to the lot?

Based upon the facts of your question, it is entirely possible that the private impound lot can hold one's vehicle a few extra days because an employee is not in the mood to release the vehicle.

Such begs the question that such conduct is improper under the laws of all states in this country and you should not be charged the extra days impound fees past the day you were ready, able and willing to pay what was due.
