Can a bank open a safety deposit box and inventory it for the estate?
Cannot find the Will. Can the box be opened by bank to search for the Will and also be inventoried for the estate by bank?

I am so sorry for your loss. They can not open it with out authority meaning that some one has to apply to the court for limited letters appointing them as the personal representative of the estate in order to open the safety deposit box. Good luck.
