Am I responsible for blown over tree behind my condo?

My HOA told me I was responsible for the clean up/removal of the tree in my yard behind my condo even though I pay a fee each month for them to maintain everything outside. Am I responsible?

Whether or not you are legally responsible for the clean up of a tree that blew over behind your condominium depends upon whether or not the tree was on common or private property. If the tree was on common property of the association, then the HOA (homeowner's association) is responsible for the clean up.
