i was diving my boyfriends car w/o a license & got pulled over b/c he had tented back headlights.circled as a misdemeanor & infraction for the lights.they impounded the car.im going to get my permit tomorrow.can my boyfriend get his car out since he is the legal owner?

Probably but he will need to pay whatever tow fees, impound fees, etc. Why were you driving without a license? Do you realize that could impact when you do actually get your license if you were ticketed? Sounds like you were ticketed if they impounded the car.
