If I was at a party where there was alcohol involved but I didn't drink any alcohol and the police showed up and gave everyone a MIP and MIC, what should do?
Question Details: And will this be on my record?
First, it is highly advisable to retain an attorney.
As to your question, you have the right to a trial, to make them prove you are guilty. There are advantages and disadvantages of that depending on the facts and evidence.
You may may also qualify for a community service program which if completed, it would result in the charges being dismissed and the record expunged. Remember that your charges are actual crimes and if convicted, would result in a criminal record.
You are welcome to call if you'd like.
