Typically on unsupervised probation, neither the court nor judge will check up on you.  In fact, the courts are generally not the ones who follow probationers or parolees.  They are assigned by the state department of corrections.

Unsupervised probation is allowed in some states but should you commit a crime while on unsupervised probation, not only do you risk a second and more enhanced sentence, but the type of probation and probation itself could be entirely revoked.

Under West Virginia Code Section 50-2-3A, unsupervised probation usually lasts no more than two years except where the sentence includes mandatory incarceration.
