If you are a beneficiary of a life insurance policy and your husband and he passed away, usually you should get the benefits in one lump some.

You need to read the entire life insurance policy contract to confirm if there is a reason why remarriage after your husband's death could jeopardize your benefits.

I'm not sure why there are still future or unpaid benefits, if your husband passed away 2 years ago.  But, if so, assuming there's an annuity plan of some sort, it's paid for and you're the beneficiary, so a new marriage in your life would not make you any less your first husband's widow, for purposes of the annuity.  Please read whatever paperwork you have on these benefits, and if there's anything that looks at all like it might create a problem, take the documents to a local attorney.
