Who schedules hearing for motion to dismiss peitition?

Question Details:

I am the plaintiff and filed a petition in the family law court. Defendant filed motion to dismiss petition based on technicality. Technicality was quickly remedied. I answered this motion and filed it. Next step? Hearing for motion to dismiss? If so, who schedules the hearing? I'm afraid the defendant is going to drag his heals on scheduling this. Can I schedule the hearing myself as the movant?
