Who pays for a septic inspection on an estate - the seller or the buyer?
Question Details: I am trying to buy a house and the is an estate. I'm wondering if the seller or the buyer pays for the septic system to be inspected?
If you were buying from a live eprson who would pay for the cost? Prbably you if you chose to have the system inspected prior to purchase (which is a good idea). Then it would still be you regardless of the fact that the property is being held by an estate. Good luck.
