What would it take for me to get arrested if caught passing a counterfeit bill (which I claimed I didn't know was counterfeit)

Question Details:

If I am caught passing a counterfeit $100 note dollar to a store by the police (and I claim I didn't know it was counterfeit when I passed it), if they searched me and found no other counterfeit bills nor any other incriminating evidencewould they likely arrest me?

Anyone can get arrested for almost any reason.  To be convicted it must be shown, beyond a reasonable doubt, either through direct or circumstantial evidence that you knew the money was counterfeit.
