What is the next step to dealing with a harrassing next-door neighbor?

Question Details:

For 2 years we've had issues with new neighbors. Son was always in our yard, peeking in windows, bouncing balls off our garage, pushing my daughter, etc. They have 2 unleashed Dobermans that have approached me at least 6 times on opposite side of road. Then the owner himself built a fence just between our 2 yards. Told son not to come in our yard anymore. However, he comes over to mow his 3 inches on our side of the fence, about 2/3 way to our back yard. This man knows just how far to push the law. The police spoke to him but he just keeps doing things to harass us. Now cops slow to respond to us, if at all.  What can we do?

Push back, using the law. For example: can he mow his inches without stepping on your land in some fashion, or crossing you land to get to it. If not, call the police on him for trespassing.

Check the lease laws in your town--are unleashed does allowed? If not, call the police on him.

If his son is on your land, that's trespassing. If he pushes your daughter again, that's assault. Call the police. Enforce all your rights.
