What is the average bond and penalty for first time aggravated sexual assault against a minor in the state of Texas?

Question Details: A friend's 13 year old daughter was sexually assaulted by a "friend of the family". He confessed to the crime and, due to the circumstances, was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a minor. He has posted bail, currently has a lawyer, and we are awaiting grand jury. We were just curious what the averages are in the state of Texas as far as bond and conviction. There is concern regarding the outcome (probably just paranoia considering how early it is) so we are curious regarding the statistics.

It depends on the County in which the case is pending.  Also, each case is unique.  Outcomes will vary depending on the allegations in the case.
