What happens to my share of mom's estate if i die.....
Question Details: My mom passed away in July and we are going thru probate and estate is to be divided equally between siblings. If I die before it is settled does my share go to my husband?

If you pass before probate is completed, your share will pass to your estate; to your beneficiaries if you have a Will or to your heirs if you die intestate (without a Will). Under California's intestacy statue, that means that your share will go to your husband and children, if any.
