What forms do we need to file for full custody of my husband's children?
Question Details: They have 50/50 right now, but the mother is homeless, unstable, and mentally abusive. The oldest girl, 14, no longer wants to go to where her Mom is temporarily and my husband doesn't want to be held in contempt of the custody order.
You have to file a petition to modify custody, you can get the forms from the clerk on line or use a lawyer.

You would need to file a Supplemental Petition to modify the existing custody/timesharing arrangement. Your best bet would be to contact a family law attorney in your area to guide you through this process.
