I agree with E.M.  However, unless the amount you invested was high enough, it may be difficult to find a lawyer to take your individual case.  If a sufficient number of people were victimized in the same way, you may be able to bring a class action.  That way, the costs and fees of handling the case are spread over a relatively large number of people.

If you can prove that you were mislead by the person representing the vacation club that you signed the contact that you relied upon and you parted with money where if you had known the truth you would not have entered into the contract, you can sue for the cancellation of the agreement and the return of the your money. Given your matter, I suggest that you consult with an attorney that practices in the areas of consumer and contract law.
