If we are a group of international students studying abroad in the U.S ut got busted for drinking underage, what will happen to us?
Question Details: Yesterday we decided to have a couple of beers and got busted. No one was over 21 and a couples were under 18. We all had the breath test and those who did not pass got a misdemeanor ticket. What will be the worst situation for us? Will we get kicked out of the program and get deported? Also, a friend of mine who is also an international and is 18 years old, is the house owner. He passed the test but is he going to get into trouble because he's the owner?
In all likelohood all who were cited for under age drinking will be fined and sent to a diversion program where you will have to do community service. Once you complete the program most likely the charges will be dismissed.
