Video camera was placed in private home without permission; should I file a police report?

Question Details: I recently found out that my a sibling placed video camera inside our parents garage without their knowledge/permission & streamed video to their personal computer through a wireless router that I found hidden. Father recently died & sibling is not happy about who controls estate. Upon search I only found hidden wireless router {took picture} but no video camera. The broadband service is being billed to my mother who does not use a computer. Is this legal & if router was removed can streamed video still be traced or can wireless provider be used to trace streamed video? Thanks!

If the sibling does not live in the home, there may be an interference with privacy charge available.  If it is in an area where people may be expected to take their clothes off, it can be a gross misdemeanor.  You may want to file a police report and see where it goes.

The action may also be considered harassment or stalking as well.
