Question: Bankruptcy - California

Asked on 7/18/2009
Vendor - Bankruptcy
Hello- One of our vendor's has been holding to our payments which were supposed to be paid to us for the services provided by our company to his vendor, all he has to do is get the money from his vendor, take his cut and pass the rest on to us, we came to know that he received the payments already from his vendor. He agreed to pay us in instalments in court and then filed for bankruptcy after paying 2 instalments, the money at stake is about $ 70000. What are our options? Can we get a default judgement from the same court on his personal candidature as well along with his company.

AttorneyPages has verified that this person is an attorney.

You have serious problems and need an attorney. Chances are you will get nothing if you continue on your own. You did not say what chapter of bankruptcy was filed, 7, 11, 12 or 13. It matters
