What to do if a used car dealer never fixed what was promised in writing?
Question Details: I signed I contract prior to purchasing a used car. In the contract it stated that the thing listed will be fixed or I'm entitled to my deposit back. The engine light came on days later and the blinkers was never fixed at all. But I signed "as is" papers. What do I do?
I am a little confused by the information you have provided here. If you have a contract that says the things wrong with the car are to be fixed then you have a contract that you can sue on. If you signed a cotnract "as is" then you are bound by that contract. Please tke the documents you have to an attorney to review or call the state Attorney General's office for help. Good luck.
