Employment and Labor Law Answers

1) They are not under any obligation to transfer you to another location.

2) While it's insulting, your supervisor may talk to you like you are 2; there is no legal obligation for managers to treat employees with respect or fairly.

3) A company would be within its rights to fire someone for not calling in sufficiently far ahead of time when they are going to absent.

4) Getting or mentioning a lawyer may help, by making the company tread lightly--but legally, there is no reason for them to do so. Based on what you have written, everything they have done is legal, so there would be no grounds for legal action.

As unpleasant as it may be, your best bet may be to put up with the behaviour until/unless you find a different job.
