I was wondering how my previously cleared theft charges will affect me. I was also wondering what my chances of expungement were? I am going to school for broad field science teaching and I am kinda freaking out about if i should just drop out now cus i wouldnt be able to get a teaching job with a criminal record, and i cant afford to go to school if i cant pay my loans when i graduate... im really freaking out, someone please help me asap!!!!

You should have legal representation on the misdemeanor theft charge. You need to avoid a conviction. Do not plead guilty. The felony has been dismissed as you successfully completed the diversion program so no conviction is of record and should not affect the misdemeanor case unless the new charge is in the same county. Please give me a call when you have some time.
