If the terms of my bond say that I have to stay in the state but my work is in another state, how do I get a modification of the terms?

You or your attorney will have to go back before the Judge or Magistrate who set your bond and ask for a bond modification to allow you to leave the state for work purposes. Most judges will agree to this if you can show them proof that you have a work assignment/job in another state, and that you will return to the state for you next court date.
