The hospital scented me a bill but the insurance company already closed the case, will they pay the bills for me still?
Question Details: I was in a car accident 3 months ago. I wasn't expecting anymore bills from them because when i got to the hospital they asked me for my insurance policy number (which i gave to them). The insurance closed the claim a long time ago and now i have this bill. So i was wondering will the insurance still pay for the medical bill for me?
I would need more information concerning the accident. As well, whose insurance company closed the claim. In any event they should still pay your medical bills. Finally, you may have more of a claim to file with the insurance company if you were injured in an accident, depending on who was at fault. If you have further questions contact my office 2032346352.
I am unclear if this was a two car accident, who was at fault, and whose insurer you are speaking of. However, I am not sure that it matters. The insurance company (whether yours of the other person's) ought to pay the bill if it was necessitated by the accident and was reasonable in amount. They will simply have to "reopen" the file and cut a check. Should not be a problem.
