If the dealer forgot to include the upgrades on the invoice for my new car, do I owe him since I already I paid for the it?
Question Details:
I signed a contract and financing is in place. Now dealer realizes he forgot to include upgrades and wants a new financing contract to include these upgrades. Do I have to sign the new contract?
If you knew when you bought the car that the upgrades were not included in the invoice then you would be responsible legally for having to pay for them.
However, if upon purchase you did not realize that the upgrades to the vehicle were not included in the purchase price then you would not be legally responsible for signing a revised contract since the mistake was a unilateral mistake by the dealership under the latter example.
