Employment and Labor Law Answers

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  An employee at will may be terminated for good bad or no reason at all.  employers may fire you in person or via email or mail or telephone.  I suggest that you file for unemployment based on the discharge and begin searching for a new job.  Your unemployment benefits will not last you forever.  Make sure that you fill out the correct documents with the state for the benefits.
