ten years ago I plead guilty for domestic assault a felony charge and no longer able to carry a firearm in maine. How do I get it off my record.

I'm not a Maine attorney; however, my research suggests that there isn't any way to remove adult convictions from your record.  Juvenile records can be sealed, in some cases, but that won't help you, of course.  Even in some states that do allow some adult convictions to be expunged, domestic violence is often something that can't be removed.

Moving to another state won't help, of course.  A Maine criminal record is governed by Maine's law, no matter what.
