Should I get a lawyer for a possible criminal complaint being filed against me by a resident of the nursing home where I work?
Question Details:
I was working with a lady at a nursing home who wanted to get up. She almost fell off the bad and I had to push her up so she didn't fall. The lady started calling me racist names and told me she was going to get me fired. She then told someone that I punched her in the head and called her names. I was suspended from my job. The incident was investigated by the police. Now her daughter is trying pressing charges against me. I've never been any in any trouble. I haven't heard back from my job at all. My girlfriend works there and she said to me, "Do you think you should get a lawyer"? Should I?
