If accident occurred in IN but driver insured/licensed in IL. Which state's statute of limitations on property damage recovery prevails?

Generally, the property damage statute of limitations is 5 years and 2 years from date of loss in IL and IN respectively.  If accident occurred in IN then suit should be brought there in most cases and the IN statute would apply.  If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
