If the insurance company knew of his condition, and now they are claiming that he falsified the application, you may want to hire an attorney experienced in dealing with insurance companies. Usually, when the excuse of the falsification of the original application comes up, it means that the insurance company is going to give you the run around because they don't want to pay out the benefits.
