Question Details: the deceased(insured) had an exam by his insurance company's medical personnel in order to be approvedfor coverage in the first place. how could the ins co not know that he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol...they performed the teststhemselves (bloodwork, urinalyisis etc...) and now say the deceased falsified his original application. he died of a heart attack and on the death certificate the reason is due to hyperlidemia and hypertension. they knew that! thank you for any advice..
If the insurance company knew of his condition, and now they are claiming that he falsified the application, you may want to hire an attorney experienced in dealing with insurance companies. Usually, when the excuse of the falsification of the original application comes up, it means that the insurance company is going to give you the run around because they don't want to pay out the benefits.
