It depends upon the nature of the warrant. If it is a bench warrant the best place to check is with the court. If it is an arrest warrant to the best place to check is with the police or the sheriff. Some agencies will give you the information over the phone others will not. Some agencies will arrest on the spot when you request information, others will not. Another good place to check is with a bail bonds agency. They can check for you and assuming that the warrant is bondable they can put up the bond.
