It depends. You are not responsible for regular wear-and-tear, but would be responsible if you caused any damage beyond that. (e.g. spilled iced tea on the carpets and it wouldn't clean up; a pet urinated on carpets, or something snagged on them and ripped them; ripped a blind; etc.) The issue is not the age of the carpets and blinds, but whether you specifically caused damage to them, or whether they simply suffered the normal wear-and-tear of people living in the space.
