Rent a center keeps calling me for someone elses bill!!
Question Details: I have Rent a center that I have not to call me anymore calling over and over agian for a bill someone else did not pay. The manager said they would not call me anymore but the same man continues to call and harass me. What can I do to make him stop?
You have several options. You can file (or threaten to file) a police report for phone harassment. You can inform the store in writing that you will initiate legal action if the calls do not stop. And if the store damages your credit, you have remedies under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
