Question Details: i am having letters from my unpaid phone bill from t mobile. I am currently unemployed and have no income and they sent a letter from their solicitor offering me a lower rate that i cannot afford to pay. I would like to know what is the worse they can do to me if i ignored me. thank you
If your creditor decides to take the matter to court, they can get a judgement against you. If they do so they can garnish your bank account and seize any other assets that they can find (subject to your state's exemptions). But they can't get blood from a stone. However, once you go back to work, even if they have a judgement, you can still try to work out payment arrangement or some kind of lump sum settlement.

Are you a lawyer?
