Tree removal on neighbors' property caused damage to mine. Are they liable?
Question Details:
My neighbor had a tree taken down today in his yard. It fell on our shed and caused damage to it. The people who took it down were just people he knows, not a tree removal service. Is he responsible for the cost to replace the shed?

Yes; people he hired or at least asked to help, and so were under his direction, caused damage to your property using his property. He is responsible all the way around, because it was his tree and his employees or agents.
