If you are not legally separated or divorced, then the house is still marital property and just because you quitclaimed the property to him does not mean that you have no interest in the property.  You should consult an attorney about your rights.

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  You are not technically divorced despite the fact that your husband it the title owner of the house. Thus, the house is still marital property.  If you file for divorce the house will likely be included as one of the assets in the marital estate to be divided and determined as to who lives in the house.  I suggest that you file for divorce if that is the route you are taking and hire a lawyer to assert your rights to the real estate among other things.  If your husband sells the house and you get divorced, you should be able to obtain some of the proceeds as it is still marital property.  Nevertheless, you need to hire a lawyer asap.
