Public Intoxication
Question Details: I am seventeen years old and live in lassen county in california. I went to a high school football game in butte county pretty drunk and got arrested and cited for public intoxication. The officer said that it would be a couple of weeks then we would here from the probation department. It has been almost a month i have still heard nothing. Should i contact anyone or just keep waitin?. Also, what do you think my punishment will be from the probation department? I have never been in trouble with the law before.

Well, not sure what your punishment would be -- it depends on whether they wish to prosecute, alternative conviction or drop the matter.
