Question Details: grandmas bed ridden she understands right from wrong need access to her bank account to pay her bills spoke with bank they say she needs to be present to add name on to bank account she has mini strokes if transported any other way of doing this without transporting her?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. I suggest having a lawyer come over to her house with a power of attorney form. If you grandma is willing to give you POA, the the lawyer can witness your signature and you can then have the power to access bank accounts and make financial decisions depending on which of the powers your grandma gives you. I suggest that you do this asap.
