Question: Criminal Defense - Ohio

Asked on 8/5/2009
Possession of alcohol by a minor in the state of ohio
My daugher (age 19) was at a party where alcohol was involved. The police came, asked her if she was drinking, she said no, and they gave her a summons to appear in court. She adamently says she wasn't drinking, asked for a breathalizer, was denied, but was charged with possession by a minor. She did not have alcohol in her possession. Should she plead no contest, and what does that mean. Will it be on her record?

AttorneyPages has verified that this person is an attorney.

She and her family should locate an experienced and skilled attorney to assist her in this matter, as underage possession has consequences beyond the possible fine. Such a conviction can affect her driver's license as well as has impact on other facets of her life.

You should be able to find such skilled attorneys at attorneypages.com. If you are in the central Ohio area, then feel free to check out our services at www.jmoserlaw.com . Good Luck
