Police officer's report left off vital information and no tickets issued. Didn't have collision insurance, and Geico won't pay damage of about $600.

Question Details: A sideswipe occured as 2 lanes of traffic were turning left at an intersection. The police report failed to state that the inside car's rear tire was on the line separating the two lanes. Also, did not report the outside car was completely in it's own lane, at least 16 inches from the line. The cars were still in the intersection when the officer arrived, and the driver in the outside lane asked the officer repeatedly to note the position of the cars. The officer even said words like: you've already told me ten times. Awaiting call from officer. Both cars have Geico in. Any suggestions?

File case in small claims court.  Subpoena officer.  Costs to defend will exceed value of case, and GEICO will probably cave in.  If not, at least you've gotten your day in court without a lot of expenses.
