Question Details: I went to a urgent care facility to get checked for flu or pnemonia. I was taken in and saw a doctor who said they were going to run some tests. A nurse came in and took some blood. About 5 minutes later a man came in and brought me to the xray room. He told me to stand on this machine and hold the bars. He then grabbed my back and began adjusting my chest for the xray pushing my chest against this machine. Next thing I know I woke up in an ambulance on my way to another hospital because I had fractured my skull and have a bleed in the front of my head. Do I have a case.
It's a little early to say for certain, but it sounds like a very good chance you do have a case. The problem, of course, is that you don't actually remember how you got the skull fracture. You would have to prove that someone was careless, or hurt you intentionally, and while one or the other seems kind of obvious here, you need a little more detailed proof than that in court, most of the time.
I would not recommend trying to investigate the case yourself. Leave that to a qualified personal injury lawyer, because your injury is probably serious enough to be worth his or her while. If you need to find a lawyer, you can do that at http://attorneypages.com
