Payment for driving company truck to and from job site

Question Details:

I drive my personal vehicle to my place of employment and at that point pick up a company van and drive it to one or more job sites. I then return to my place of employment and get into my personal car for the drive home. Should I be payed for my entire time while operating the company van as well as the actual work time? The company will only pay for half of my travel time. I don't expect to be paid for driving to and from the site that I pick up the company van but feethat I should be compensated fully for the rest of the time.

From the time that you arrive at the place where you are expected to arrive at whatever time, to pick up the van, until you finish your shift back at the same place, you're at work, all of it.  The company has no right to only pay for half of the time spent driving their van around.  You have the right to sue them, for the hours that you can prove you worked but weren't paid for, and I'd recommend talking to a good lawyer about this, as soon as you can.
