Wrongful Death - Accidental Death Law Answers

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  Under what us called "permissive use", the owner of the car that was at fault is going to be on the hook (primary) for the death of the person in the other car.  The only way to get out of this responsibility is to claim and prove that the drvier did not have permission from you to drive.  if you can prove that, then your insurance company will not have to pay out the claim.  otherwise, the owner is most likely going to be liable.
