parole and bail

Question Details: my friends on parole. he broke a law and got arrested last week. he has no parole hold. will it do us any good to bail him out or will parole (police) just come get him back?

It's hit or miss.  If he bails out, the parole agent may let him stay out and may not violate him if he beats the case.  However, he could end up bailing out and getting rearrested by the parole agent.

Also, your friend has a duty to tell his parole officer that he has been arrested. He will get Brownie points if he tells the parole officer before a hold is put on him.
