Basically you are doing a little estate planning which is great.  If you want to add her name to the deed you need to have a new deed prepared.  Make sure that you add her with "rights of survivorship" this way there is no need to have the property go through probate.  Once the new deed is prepared you have to file it with the county (or if it is filed with the Registrar as you say). You should probably consult with an attorney.  Good luck.
