I would need additional facts to fully answer this question. I am unaware of any specific Missouri state statute that prohibits this practice; but I have not checked court rulings to see if a Missouri court has extended coverage. However, it may be possible to find coverage under statutes prohibiting certain practices by Insurance Companies, such as fraud, coercion etc. Feel free to email me at sean@roadlawyer.net or call 913 441 5025 with more information.
