Employment and Labor Law Answers

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  Generally, the salary that you had at your company before the new company took over will remain the same.  however, you may see that the first paycheck is for less than what you are seeing.  if that is the case, you need to ask your supervisor what the salary is.  if you do not like it, you can try to negotiate for a higher salary or leave the company.  the company is required to dislcose the payment you are getting and you have a choice as to whether you want to continue to work for the company.
