Question: Divorce, Marriage, Alimony - Ohio

Asked on 10/15/2009
My wife did not disclose a previous marriage on the marriage license. What effect will this have on the legality of the marriage?
We live in Ohio. Is the marriage still legal? Will it make it easier for me to have the marriage dissolved?

If she was divorced it is not that big of a deal. If she was still married when you got married, then she is a bigamist and you are a putative spouse. Your marriage would then be voidable.
