The company that you purchased the floor system from is liable if the product was defective.  When the floor system failed to work did you contact the floor company?  If not, you need to have the floor company come out to look at the floor system that it sold you.  Many times, these types of floor systems are complicated to install.  I suggest asking the flooring company to inspect the floor to determine the problem.  If the company refuses, then you need to file a claim against the company for breach of warranty.  I suggest that you hire a lawyer at that point to get involved so that the company takes you seriously.  You should however, try to have the company get the floor installed for you to prove that the floor is not defective and works.
