I know that this must be a very stressful and difficult time for you all, as evidenced from your question. And although you have an obligation to support and take care of your minor child, under Connecticut law your rights are limited when it comes to this particular situation. I do not believe tat you have the right to force your daughter to give up her child for adoption or to force her to get an abortion, if that is the "etc." that you meant in your question. The law will stop you there as a parent. It hopes to involve you in her decision making process but it is just that: her decision. It may be a good idea for all of you to obtain counseling.
